What is Body Doubling Timer?

Body doubling is a well-known ADHD strategy where working alongside another person — even virtually — helps improve focus and task initiation. The presence of another person (real or imagined) creates gentle accountability and reduces the urge to switch tasks.

This tool simulates that experience: name your virtual body double, choose a session length, and start. A progress circle fills as time passes, the background color shifts subtly to mark the passage of time, and encouraging messages appear at random intervals. End the session whenever you're done — every session is logged so you can see your focus history over time.
