What date formats are detected?

ISO 8601 (YYYY-MM-DD), US (MM/DD/YYYY), EU (DD/MM/YYYY or DD.MM.YYYY), long-form (Month DD, YYYY and DD Month YYYY), and relative dates (yesterday, tomorrow, last/next/this day/week/month/year, N days ago, in N weeks).

What happens with ambiguous dates like 01/02/2025?

The tool first tries US interpretation (month/day). If the first number is greater than 12, it falls back to EU interpretation (day/month). Dates matching ISO format are preferred.

How are relative dates handled?

Relative dates like 'yesterday', 'next Monday', and '3 weeks ago' are resolved against the current date when you click Extract. They will show different results if you re-extract on different days.

Is my text uploaded anywhere?

No. All extraction happens in your browser. Nothing leaves your device.
