What is PDF Crop Margins?

This tool adjusts the CropBox on each page (it doesn't re-rasterize), so the trim is lossless. The original PDF content is intact; only the visible window changes. Most PDF viewers (Acrobat, Preview, browsers) honour CropBox, as do downstream tools like printing or further conversion.

FAQ

Why are odd/even page options useful?
Scanned books often have asymmetric margins (gutter inside vs trim outside). Applying different left/right trims per side cleans this up.
Can I preview the crop before applying it?
Yes. The tool shows a live preview so you can adjust margins visually and see exactly how pages will look before downloading the cropped PDF.
Does cropping actually reduce my PDF's file size?
Cropping hides margins but doesn't always remove the underlying content from the file. To significantly shrink file size, pair it with a compression tool.
