What is AI Prompt Optimizer?
The AI Prompt Optimizer takes your raw, unstructured prompt and applies proven prompt engineering techniques to make it more effective. By adding role context (You are an expert ...), specifying output formats (JSON, table, list, or markdown), including examples, removing filler words, and structuring with sections, you can dramatically improve the quality and consistency of AI responses.
Select the optimization options you want via checkboxes, choose a role and output format, and click Optimize. The two-panel layout lets you compare your raw prompt side-by-side with the optimized version. Token counts are estimated for both, showing you the difference. Use the built-in templates library to get started quickly with prompts for code review, summarization, role-play, brainstorming, and concept explanation.
All processing happens in your browser. No data is sent to any server. This tool is for prompt structure improvement only — it does not call any AI APIs.
FAQ
- Does this tool call any AI API?
- No. This is a prompt structure optimizer only. It applies template-based transformations (adding roles, formats, examples, removing filler words) to improve your prompt clarity and effectiveness. All processing is client-side.
- What is Remove fluff?
- Remove fluff strips out common filler words and phrases like just, really, very, actually, basically, I think, in my opinion — making your prompt more direct and professional.
- How are tokens estimated?
- Tokens are estimated using a heuristic based on word count, word length, and special character density. This approximates the token counting used by most LLMs but is not exact. Use it as a relative guide.
- Can I use the template prompts as-is?
- Yes! Each template provides a solid starting point. Replace the [PLACEHOLDER] text with your specific content, then optimize further using the checkboxes.
