What is PDF to Word?

A PDF to Word converter extracts the text elements, paragraphs, line breaks, and page flow from a PDF container and packs them into a Microsoft Word WordprocessingML document (.docx). This allows users to easily edit and reuse content from static PDF files.

1Stop Tools uses client-side rendering. Text is extracted from each page using pdf.js, formatted into standard Word paragraphs, and compiled into a valid Word document package via JSZip. Highly secure and privacy-friendly.

FAQ

Is my document uploaded to a server?
No. The entire conversion runs locally in your browser. Your files never leave your computer, keeping your private data completely secure.
Can I convert scanned/image-only PDFs?
Currently, this tool only extracts text elements from digital PDFs. Scanned documents or image-only pages that require OCR (Optical Character Recognition) are not supported in this client-side version.
Will the formatting match the PDF exactly?
While the converter extracts the precise text flow, columns, and headings, complex graphic positioning or exotic layouts might be simplified to ensure the output is cleanly editable in Word.
