What is Number Extractor?

This number extractor scans your text and pulls out every number it finds. Beyond listing them, it computes live statistics: count, sum, average, minimum, and maximum. You can filter to include or exclude integers, decimal numbers, and negative numbers independently. All processing is client-side.

FAQ

What types of numbers does it find?
It detects integers (42, -10), decimal numbers (3.14, -0.5), and numbers embedded in text (like $49.99 or 8.5%). By default all three filters are enabled.
How are the statistics calculated?
Each extracted number is parsed as a float. The count, sum, average, minimum, and maximum are computed from the parsed values.
Can I extract only integers?
Yes. Uncheck 'Decimals' and only whole numbers (like 42 or -7) will be extracted.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. All processing runs entirely in your browser. No data is ever uploaded to a server.
