How to use Countdown Timer

Choose 'To Date/Time' mode and pick a target date and time, then click Start to begin the countdown — or switch to 'Duration Timer', enter hours, minutes, and seconds, and press Start.
In duration mode use Pause to halt the timer and Start again to resume from where you left off.
Enable 'Beep when done' and/or 'Browser notification' at the bottom so you get alerted when the timer reaches zero.

What is Countdown Timer?

The Countdown Timer offers two modes in one tool. In To Date/Time mode you pick any future date and time and the timer shows the remaining hours, minutes, and seconds live, automatically accounting for your local time zone. In Duration Timer mode you set a custom hours-minutes-seconds duration, then start, pause, and resume it at will — perfect for timing tasks, cooking, or workouts.

When the countdown reaches zero an optional Web Audio beep plays directly in your browser without any plugin, and an optional browser Notification appears even if the tab is in the background. Both options are controlled by checkboxes so you can enable only what you need.

Everything runs client-side with no server requests, so the timer keeps working while you are offline.
